The module is used in control circuits and automation as an intermediate unit and is designed to off/on the electric circuits of various devices, it allows to organize the galvanic isolation of the control signal of some automation systems or control units from the circuits of external devices.
The module is equipped with four switching groups:
- solid-state relay - 1 group
- reed switch - 3 groups
The module circuit allows for various options for switching circuits:
- control voltage at the module input +5 V - switching relay groups are closed;
- control voltage at the module input +5 V - switching relay groups are open;
- control voltage at the input of the module 0 V - switching relay groups are closed;
- control voltage at the input of the module 0 V - switching relay groups are open.
The load characteristics of the switching relay groups have a wide range, which allows the module to be used to solve a wide variety of tasks.
One example of the use of the module is its use, in conjunction with the KATRON-SKZ controller, in the control circuit of a cathodic protection rectifier (CPR) for turning off / on the supply voltage of the CPR equipped with an electromagnetic starter and disconnecting / connecting the measuring inputs of the controller from the protected structure . This scheme allows remote shutdown and powering up of the CPR on the command of the control controller, allows you to protect the measuring circuit of the controller during the production of welding or other dangerous work on a pipeline.
